Brandon Audia
Mechanical Engineering Technologist

End Goal: My name is Brandon Audia. I am an aspiring project management engineer seeking to enter the space and defense industry.
Background: I spent 4 and a half years in the Army as an airborne infantry team leader with a tour to Afghanistan. I transitioned to the North Carolina National Guard as a mechanized infantry squad leader. During this time, I attended and graduated from Wake Technical Institute with an associate's of applied science in mechanical engineering technology. I also worked at the school as a 3D printing Lab assistant.
Current: I now work full-time at Wake Tech as a mechanical engineering technician, advising, instructing, and maintaining the department's manufacturing and testing equipment. I am also a full-time student at Eastern Carolina University. I am studying for my bachelor's of science in industrial technology with a concentration in mechanical design(accelerated) and a master's of science in management technology with a lean six sigma black belt certification. While working and going to school, my primary directive will be to obtain the skills necessary to jump into project management and eventually earn a project management professional certification from PMI.
Enjoy checking out my engineering portfolio, where you will find my resume and the projects I have worked on.
